The Ottala - An Aquatic Defender

Product Description

Ottala Lore:

The Ottala are a medium-small otter-like species in the world of Versakis. As one of the many original species before the fall of the world, the Ottala were defenders of bodies of fresh water sources. They split into respective tribes; River, Lake, and Waterfall tribes. Because of their semi-aquatic nature, they provided natural resources and services that these places provided. Fishing, logging, even hydroelectricity through water wheels.

When the world stopped relying on the world's deity, Versaku, other species demanded more from these natural resources. More than they could replenish. The Ottala had to defend their lakes and rivers from pollution and poachers. As pollution and waste spread, many lakes and rivers were lost. Hydroelectricity became scarce. Through the years, the Ottala eventually managed to evolve, developing bioelectricity in the paw pads of their palms stronger than that of electric eels. They use this power for self-preservation and protecting the little fresh-water there is left in the world of Versakis.

The Ottala have different tail types, which can determine how they swim and their prowess in water. Their webbing only serves to bolster their swimming abilities. They have a sleek coat of fur, and are naturally built to be tough and hydrodynamic. Outside of water, they are quite formidable as warriors, using spears as weapons and their natural strength and bioelectricity in hand-to-hand combat to subdue their enemies and prey.

The Ottala is PC only. There are no plans to make the Ottala Quest-Compatible.
